Day 1 - Abu Simbel Tour By Bus

Early morning (around 05:00 am), our guide will pick you from your hotel in Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle towards Abu Simbel to visit the location of the most famous temples (The Great and Small temples) of King Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari.
It is one of the best sights you have ever seen, Walkthrough Temple of Ramses II, and the Temple of Nefertari, both temples were endangered by submersion in Lake Nasser because of the construction of the High Dam, but the Egyptian government agreed with the rescue operation of the UNESCO for Abu Simbel Temple.
It is believed that the axis of the temple was positioned by the ancient Egyptian architects in such a way that on October 22 and February 22, the rays of the sun would penetrate the sanctuary and illuminate the sculptures on the back wall.

After finishing your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Aswan.
